Pansy and Lewis | Candy Bar
If you haven’t watched it yet, check out Pansy and Lewis because it is such a huge hit! Oh Happy Tuesdays folks! It’s details tuesdays! We are featuring an awesome candy bar from Pansy and Lewis wedding reception at the cornerstone Sonoma (link to cornerstone) last May. Rather than guessing who is behind this idea, we actually asked Pansy herself about it.
One word: Cotton candy. When we think of cotton candy, thoughts of fun and nostalgia comes to mind. Thus we knew we wanted to capture those same feelings with a vintage themed wedding. Vintage pieces are unique, not perfect and fun – just like Lewis and I 🙂 There are things I love and wanted to incorporate them into the wedding for sure – ie, colorful paper straws, mason jars, and pinwheels. Everything just came together at the end – including the dessert bar. I provided our vision to Sift’s Cupcake and they were able to gather some great dessert stands and plates for us (which I was able to select specific ones to use at the wedding). They assembled the coolest dessert bar. Last, but not least, we could not have been able to tie everything together without the help from our friends at Naglee Paper Projects. They designed everything from our awesome invitations to the fantastic “newspaper” (program) at the Ceremony. All our guests had such a great and memorable time. Lewis and I could not be more thankful to all our wonderful vendors because it is them that our wedding was so awesome.
