We are so grateful to announce that we have won 2nd place as “Best Wedding Videographer” in the SF Bay List for 2011! Out of the 53 competing best videography studios here in San Francisco and the Bay Area, we were so blessed to be chosen as the second. This is our very first year to join this contest so we couldn’t ask for anything more.
Again, even before the voting started, we would like to thank you again ! Our wonderful clients who made this huge win possible. Initially, our goal was only to impress our clients and their families with their wedding videos last year. 100% of our clients not only liked it, their friends also were raving about it on our facebook as well!
So, this win is what we consider, the ultimate TIP!!!
We have a great year ahead of us, awesome couples, wonderful destination weddings, and lots of great wedding videos to share with you.
We are SOOO ready to take it to the next level!!!
It’s been a long time since we have written a blog post, and there could be two reasons why. 1- running out of business, 2 – VERY busy. Thank God that for us, it is the latter! It just seem to be more busy than before and I promise to catch up (pinky swear) ! Currently, we have finished two Engagement Video MTV shoots and a Love Story, which will be both shown on the month of June. We really can’t wait to share it with you. Also, we are entering our busy wedding season as you see on our schedule, we are starting to fill up the year. In May, we will be shooting a wedding in Puerto Rico. So yes, your San Francisco destination wedding videographers will travel to produce awesome entertaining wedding videos for you. So what else have we been up to these past two months? We attended workshop, shopped for new gears, and practiced shooting. Yes, we still practice. Athletes practice. Singers practice. All the great people I know practice. We also added some really nice gears that can actually add more awesomeness to our shots. Here are some screen grabs.

Let us take a look back on our most popular wedding films we’ve created last year. We look forward to creating more of these in 2011, now that we’ve acquired more gears, more experience, and more talent.
#1 Tony + Linda :: Fate // Wedding Highlights
#2 Jerrie + Mikey :: Love // The Power of Spoken Word
#3 Daisi + Kevin :: iPhone Love // Same Day Edit
#4 Jeanine + Daniel :: Just The Way You Are // Next Day Edit
#5 Jacalyn + Eric :: Becoming Us // Engagement Film
#6 Sandy + Kamaile :: The Half True Love Story
These films were entered solely based on the fact that these videos received the most page views, most comments, and most raved when they were published on our blog and our facebook page.
It has bee a crazy year for us! I’m glad to say that we have wrapped up the wedding season pretty strong!
I wouldn’t be possible of course without our family and friends who supported us all throughout!

2011 is going to be a big year! Lots of unique love stories, creative engagement films, and amazing wedding video highlights. Plus, in addition to all the bay area weddings, we will also be shooting internationally! We are very excited.
We wish you a beautiful holiday season and a new year of peace and happiness!
DSLR cameras are gaining in popularity nowadays to the point where they’re almost main stream here in the Bay Area. Sure, anyone can claim to be a wedding videographer. In order to stand out from the rest, we have to continue to find ways on how we can improve our skills and creativity. The most effective way is by attending a workshop.
As a Bay Area wedding videographer/cinematographer, I knew that I would miss a lot if I didn’t go to Ray Roman’s Workshop. So, I did.
Last Month, I had the pleasure to meet one of the best wedding filmmakers in the planet, Ray Roman of Ray Roman Films for a one-day workshop .
I am glad that I attended Ray Roman’s workshop. It opened a lot of doors for me. I learned things that I would never have learned by myself. My questions, from technical skills to business and everything in between (Yes, I was like the excited geeky student, prepared with my question-filled notepad), were all answered by Ray. No question was left unanswered. He was really humble and was open to share his knowledge and experiences.
At the workshop, Ray went over tons of material. From workflow, to creative shooting techniques, to audio tips, color grading and a lot more!
If you plan on being one of the best in your area (or in the world), I highly recommend taking his workshops.
You can get started here.
Here are some screen grabs from the workshop.
I can’t wait to shoot bay area weddings next year! Watch out 2011! A new and improved Reb6studios will be bringing it!
I had the opportunity to witness Vivian Sachs work in her element. It
was my first time to see a wedding photographer using minimal gear but
deliver amazing photographs. She busts out these awesome creative
shots and makes it look easy. Seriously! Here are some snapshots of her work.
To all brides-to-be out there, aside from getting a photographer who
takes breathtaking photos, you would also want to work with one who is
highly professional and one who you are comfortable communicating
with. You can see that it makes for better pictures. Vivian has that
personality that you can easily feel at ease with, and the fact that
she’s fun and bubbly is definitely a bonus! Happy photographer + Happy
wedding couple = Awesome shots.
Vivian Sachs, you rock!!!
