Review is one of the most important part when choosing a wedding videographer for your wedding. The investment you put in to hiring a wedding videographer is absolutely a significant amount of your budget so it is very important to find out how a vendor delivers before, during, and most importantly after your wedding. Here is the tip on choosing the best ones for you, look at their recent reviews, NOT the old reviews. A company can do great on the first year, then once they become popular, they will expand and sub out their work for profit. Guess what quality suffers. There is no consistency to their work anymore because films are made by different editors and shooters.
If you are a bride that have been researching a lot and digging what’s online, you’ll find out that you’ll barely find someone that will put a wedding date or a film and right below it is the clients review. wink.
Since we don’t do a lot of lip service marketing and lure you to book us, it is better to find out from our actual clients we’ve worked with last year 2012.

My wife and I got married 2 months ago, and all we have to say is WOW! Reb6Studios is the new standard for Wedding Videography. I have to be honest, as my wife and I were planning for our wedding, I was debating whether we really need a Videographer. Deciding on having Reb6 was one of the best decisions we’ve made.
This crew is simply awesome! I’ve been part of wedding events and photo shoots in the past, but this crew made it so much fun!
The morning of our wedding as I was getting ready, they showed up ready to rock and roll. They looked around, saw several props, and knew exactly what to do. There were even a few shots/poses where I was saying to myself, “why am I doing this?” Later, to find out as we saw the snippets, I then knew. This crew is soo creative!
We also had a photographer “Alfred and Emma Photography” for the wedding. It helped that Reb6 and Emma/Alfred worked with each other in past events. They have really good chemistry with each other.
I have to admit, I was overwhelmed with the amount of attention and poses, but it i can’t express how much fun it was. They mic’d me up for the procession, so I felt like a celebrity.
We recently got a snippet of our wedding video, that they posted on their blog. It was simply AMAZING! My wife and I felt like getting married all over again.
We’re going to have a family/friends Wedding Video Party when we get the full highlights and footage. That’s how excited everyone was when watching the sample video. =)

LOVED LOVED LOVED!!!
Having Reb6Studios as our videographer was one of the best decisions we made during our wedding planning! Like all couples prepping for a wedding, we searched high and low for the “perfect” cinematographer that would be able to capture who we are and not just straight film the day as it goes by. The second we saw some of Reb6Studios’s work, we knew they were the one. I emailed Sigmund right away and he was so quick in responding back to us – which was much appreciated.
Fast forward to months later, on our wedding day (5-12-12), we finally met Sigmund, Mariane, and the rest of the Reb6 team. They were so great…true professionals! Sigmund even helped carry my 4″ heels when we were walking to different spots on our venue to film because my feet was killing me then. What a trooper!
We knew our highlight video would be great, but when we saw it (just a few days after our wedding day)…we were in awe! It was amazing! It was beyond what we expected. Our family and friends loved it as well. Most of them cried watching it

Ever since we received our video we have been watching it non-stop! Yes, it is that PHENOMENAL (not to mention funny, sentimental and very entertaining) !!! The search for a high quality videographer was stressful and at the point of giving up, we stumbled upon Reb6Studios. When we were first looking for videographers, some people told us that the video wasn’t important – that we would never watch our wedding video again. I didn’t think that would be true because I know there are certain emotions you can only capture on tape and that there would be things we wouldn’t get to see or appreciate from our wedding day unless we captured it on video.
I started off by looking at some of the “tried and true” Bay Area cinematographers that had been around for a long time. They had some good work out there but somehow it didn’t feel fresh or genuine. When we stumbled across REB6Studios through an award they had won in their first year, I knew from the first video I saw on their website that they had something incredibly special going on. REB6Studios has only been around for a couple of years but they knew how to put together a STORY. From the editting, to the soundtracks, to the shots – they just got it all right. They captured the genuine emotions, the best moments of the day and they also had that “je ne sais quoi” – the X factor – that innate quality that you can’t learn, you either have it or you don’t. Sigmund and Mariane have it and combined with their passion for what they do results in quality, one in a million type cinematography.
We were blown away by our highlights video – it was almost like being back there on that day, in that moment. It was everything we wanted and much more. Also, our moms both cried watching it for the first time – so I’d said it was a resounding success

I just got married a few days ago and even though I haven’t seen the highlight or full feature film yet (we can’t wait!), I had to write a review to say how happy and impressed with them I am. Sigmund and his wife Mariane have been great every step of the way and out of the many ups and downs that my now husband and I have had during the 20 month planning process, I have to say that our experience with them was one of the best and most memorable.
When we were searching for videographers, I think I must have contacted 10 different ones, getting pricing, looking at TONS of samples, reading yelp reviews and just getting a general feel for the actual videographer or company through tons of email communication. For my husband and I it was really important that our vendors felt like our friends, because our day was really personal to us and we wanted to be surrounded by great people. We also wanted vendors that got “us” right away and knew what kind of wedding we were going for. I came back to Reb6′s website time and time again, and really could NOT stop watching their videos. It was really apparent that they knew what they were doing when it came to getting the important shots and editing so that everything flowed amazingly well. Pretty much every one of Reb6′s videos made me cry!
So we booked them right away without an in person interview. We also knew that we wanted to do something special like a love story or engagement video, but we weren’t quite sure what. So with feedback from Sigmund and him sending me additional sample videos, we ended up booking a package with a full feature movie of the wedding and a engagement video.
We met with Sigmund and Mariane around four months before the wedding, and told him about our ideas. We decided we wanted to include our bridal party in the engagement video and that this would be the bridal party and our introduction to the wedding. My husband also wanted to do a music video (he thinks he’s a rap star). But beyond that, we didn’t have much. We clicked with them RIGHT away, and Sigmund starting throwing out tons of ideas which also got our creative juices going. You could tell that Sigmund’s was already picturing a story board and different shots. After that meeting, I was already SUPER excited.
Then, two months before the wedding Sigmund rented a kick ass studio in San Jose, and our huge 16 person bridal party (8 and
and my husband and I descended en masse with lots of excitement and LOTS of alcohol. Despite our CRAZY ass drunken friends, Sigmund was able to control the chaos and get all the shots he needed, ALL while being great sports and laughing with us (and at us). Pretty much, he and his team are super cool, really nice, and tons of fun. Exactly what we wanted.
Finally…wedding day arrives June 16th. My husband and I had already seen the video since Sigmund sent it to us earlier so we knew how AMAZING it was, but no one else had seen it besides us. Our bridal party was also ITCHING to see it (especially since at least half of them were blacked out during filming from having a little too much fun). I wish I could adequately describe how the guests reacted, but in sum there was a TON of laughs, a lot of tears, and overall, everyone was extremely extremely impressed.
Afterwards and during the rest of the wedding, guest after guest came up to tell us how much they loved the video, how great the editing looked, how fun it looked like our bridal party had making it. We pretty much had a perfect wedding with lots of extra goodies and surprises, and the video was probably the one thing that most of our guests would say was their favorite part.
Some advice to all you brides (and grooms) who aren’t sure where to spend your budget…Reb6 was worth every penny. It made our wedding SO unique and memorable, and to top it off we’ll be getting the film covering our wedding that I know for a fact will be absolutely amazing. Update:
Just wanted to write an update now that we’ve gotten our post-wedding package and we’ve seen the feature film. I was expecting amazing because so far, that is how ALL of their work is…but my husband and I cannot even express how in LOVE and moved we are by the feature film.
They captured every amazing moment of the day, and Sigmund & Co’s editing prowess is unbelievable. He weaved in clips from our engagement video with clips from the day and made a movie that was sooo touching and felt so us. Dare I say that they made the wedding even better than I remember it being??
With weddings, you often feel like you are getting ripped off by overpriced vendors. But with our entire experience with Reb6, I’ve always felt that not only was it worth the money, but that I got a total steal with the quality of what they produce, even down to the box that they sent the movies to us in. I am very touched at the effort and care that they put into what they made for us, and I’ll forever be thankful that we found them and hired them.
